Then, this book explains the steps the United States government took to remedy the problem, thus, giving the United States, especially the southeast, a current, thriving whitetail population.

Steel cradles are rubber coated, it grips well, not cheap plastic that can rub blue off your guns. Material made holsters rub blue off as well and make it slow and hard to get guns out, as they can move and bind.
There are two racks in a box, for both front seats of your vehicle. Our new design allows you to carry bows better as well as long guns.
Also handy for umbrella, fishing poles and baseball bats, etc.
MOST HEADREST SIMPLY COME OFF BY PUSHING A BUTTON, A SMALL PERCENTAGE SIMPLY PULL UP AND OFF WITHOUT A BUTTON. (On many Chevy&GMC vehicles there is an insert hole that requires a small nail or Allen wrench to be inserted so the head rest can be removed.)
SEE CHART BELOW TO SEE IF YOU NEED MODEL 1 OR MODEL 2 (90% OF TRUCKS OUT THERE TAKE MODEL 1)
NOTE: IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OF YOUR TRUCK MODEL, SIMPLY MEASURE FROM CENTER POST TO CENTER POST BETWEEN THE HEADREST. THERE MUST BE AT LEAST A 5" GAP BETWEEN HEADREST POST FOR MODEL 1 TO FIT.
MODEL 2 IS 4.5" GAP BETWEEN POST AND THOSE ARE CERTAIN OLDER DODGE TRUCKS,
However, the new 2025 and 2026 Dodges 1500 and 2500 measure 5.5" inside to inside post, so Model 1 works with the newest Dodge trucks.

MODEL 2: DODGE RAM Extended Cab & Quad cab (2009 and older ) and DODGE extended cab and quad cabs from 2010-2024. Most of these year Dodge trucks measure 4.5" inside post to inside post, but just MAKE SURE you measure all Dodges because Dodge changed some seats during mid-years! Plus they have upgraded seat packages that vary from base units.
DIRECTIONS: Remove headrest from seat back by pressing the adjustment button or buttons. On Chevy&GMC vehicles there is an insert hole that requires a small nail or Allen wrench to be inserted so the head rest can be removed.
Place each carrier unit on top of seat with hole position to the outer post and the longated slot to the inside post, now re-insert the headrest, push straight down.

I had another one but it sucked, Haynes has got it right in the way they balance out, kinda stay level and guns never come out even if you hit a big pothole! My wife has one to in her truck she uses for an umbrella and at ATTACK BASEBALL BAT! we have a rooster that likes to challenge her on our farm

I used material pouch type-no good, guns get hung up. I used those loop thing-hassle too. These from Haynes are like cradles, don't catch or grab, just put long guns in easy and take out easy

Cant tell you how many times my guns lay in my back seat, no more. What I am really impressed with is how easy to put them in and take them out of the rubber coated cradle
