You need to cover your head and your breath when hunting.
Your breath contains about 20,000 to 50,000 negative ions from the water evaporating from your body; but you must be grounded to exhale a concentration this high. If you are not grounded, you will become more positively charged with each breath exhaled by about five volts, because your breath is removing negative charged ions. Eventually, you will become sufficiently positive after exhaling about 20 times, that the negative ions will immediately return and neutralize your body. The scent comes out the top of your head and your breath. Ever watch football players on a cold day when they take their helmets off ? Look at your breath on a cold day or notice the light fog out the top of their head. You just dont see it on a hot day.
This is exactly why a Shutzhund trained German Shepherd can trail a man through the woods for 3 and a half hours, without even putting it's nose to the ground except for about the last half hour, depending on how fast the man moves. THINK ABOUT WHAT DEER CAN SMELL! This is why hunters have wondered why deer can still smell where they have been even while wearing rubber boots.
For years, many popular outdoor magazines claim that around 70% of the odor that deer smell escape from the top of the head. When you see football players on the sideline with their helmets off, you see that steam, that is what animals smell flowing across the air current! The media in this scent destroying cap liner is patented and a vast improvement other activated carbon (coconut shell) products. We have patented resins that do 3 things: 1. They keep the millions of pores unclogged by not allowing sweat or other liquids from entering in. 2. They controls odor molecules that cannot be handled and are 'exchanged' into molecules that are odorless. They keep a positive 'draw' on scent molecules.
Your body is negatively charged, that is why lighting strikes us.
The blue sections sewn into our cap liners are positively charged to continuously draw human odors. We also use the same media in our liners as we do in our patented polar hoods, face mask and foot inserts. The coconut bed also includes a patented, all natural vegetable odor absorbing media. Our season is out but my second year using the same cap liner and foot inserts and face mask , Now Im ordered more ( and that Real Tree fleece hood they have)for next year JUST IN CASE they run out early

I would be remiss if I did not take the time to tell hunters how awesome this thing seems to work (plus I wear the Haynes face mask too). I am not able to climb anything at 81, anymore so i am on ground, DEER COME SO CLOSE TO ME WEARING THESE. I don't shoot but one or two a year ( i hunt in two states ) but this is no hype on these things, they work , for me anyway

Shot two nice bucks of ridege side, got 75 yards close to one (thankfully leaves were wet) ....never smelled me. Wind was in my favor one time, not the other

I wear this and face mask Haynes makes everytime. In wither I wear the polar hood they sell with same scent killing media. Damn if I dont see more buck deer, which are so hard to get close. I have to hunt in a wheelchair. I missed one I should have got last year

I wear this and the feet liners, they seem to work for me. Had even bucks come down trails I used to get in a tree and never seem to smell me, even after only about 30-40 minutes

I am semi disabled and ground hunt (plus im old! )and this product has le deer get close to me manytimes, plus, i kep my clothes in cedar, dont know if that helps or not
