We special priced and special made our Model 2 ATV basket with a 24" (2 foot) welded steel plate on one side of the rear ATV basket, with pre-drilled holes to attach our rubber coated tree stand cradle.
If your particular ATV has the muffler on the right side (instead of the left side, like the Honda Foreman and Honda Rancher pictured) you need to tell us in the message box when you order online, that you need the basket with the tree stand climber carrier on the left side, instead of the right side, no problem.
We weld a 24" flat piece of steel to the rear of this Model 2 basket for the tree stand climber carrier to bolt too. This is way stronger than attaching our tree climber carrier simply to the double bar of an ATV rear rack, or even to a rear composite ATV rack.
Our tree stand carrier has top and side, very long long snapping strap closures, making it possible to carry ANY portable tree climber horizontal or vertical. (Most hunters like vertical for those tight trails)
The basket is enamel black sprayed and then sprayed with Rhino rubber coating and the tree stand cradle is then dipped in thick rubber. Then, slow dried in a zero humidity controlled booth for years of use.
This basket has 11" of expanded metal for a rider to sit on and 11" more inches behind the 1" and a open half gap. The gap is for the basket to fit over the "double bar" on the Honda ATV's. Your ATV may vary. Every Model 2 basket has an 1" and a half gap between the 11 inches of the front, and the 11 inches in the back of the basket. That is 22" but the basket actually measure 24" from front to back because of the border rods the expanded metal is welded too.
NOTE: Some state laws forbid a rider on the rear of an ATV.

Ok, I guess I may have bought the first one made, not sure, but I have a 2002 and a 2004 Honda Foreman (same everything) and this fit like a glove. I did have no go to Lowe's and get some 3" mounting bolts and nuts (they included 2" but I was able to use their mounting plates) but it was because my rear rack was bent down after a wreck years ago. Anyway, I love the Foremans because they are so reliable and so short, they fit on the back of my Ford 4 door truck bed and my sons new Rancher won't!
