Here are the exact written instructions: Each kit has a right and left side. The one with the sticker is the right side. Place the gun/bow carrier on the back side of the cage. The top U-bolt should be placed underneath the bottom side of the Head Rest. Now, square both gun carrier brackets to one another and tighten all U-bolts. Use the securing straps by wrapping each strap around the gun barrel stock or the bow riser (with some downward pressure) and velcro back to itself
